In the spirit of philanthropy and through a commitment to education, The West Virginia Northern Community College Foundation was established in 1972. As a non-profit, tax-exempt, educational corporation, we solicit, receive, manage and administer gifts on behalf of West Virginia Northern Community College. The Foundation is a public charity under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Service.

The Foundation, in collaboration, with Northern's Office of Development, secures private financial support for the College and encourages greater participation by alumni.

You are the reason that The Foundation is here. Every dollar raised helps students attend West Virginia Northern Community College, provides funds to build new, and improve existing, facilities, and enhances and expands curriculum. And it all starts with your desire to support excellence at Northern.

This site is designed to assist you in finding the best way for you to give. Whether you are an existing supporter or are just getting started, your support will directly impact West Virginia Northern Community College, both now, and in the future.

Our Emergency Student Assistance Fund is designed to provide students with financial assistance when they experience an emergency that would prevent them from continuing to attend WVNCC.  In addition to being available at the Student Services Center and Financial Aid Office, students may access the document's cover letter and application form below.
