WVNCC to Hold FAFSA Workshop

Posted 02/17/17

A free FAFSA on the Web Workshop is being offered by the financial aid staff at West Virginia Northern Community College from 3-6 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 22, in the library on the second floor of the Wheeling campus B&O Building.

According to Alicia Frey, financial aid director at WVNCC, the free workshop is open to the public, including high school seniors and their parents, as well as any student seeking financial aid for higher education. Anyone who is planning to pursue some form of education and training beyond high school within the next year should complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA.)

“The urgent need for this workshop is because of West Virginia’s FAFSA submission deadline for the Promise Scholarship of March 1,” Frey pointed out, “but all are welcome to receive assistance and get questions answered.” Contact the WVNCC financial aid office at 304-214-8844 for more information.
