2024-2025 WVNCC Foundation Scholarship Application (Fall 2024 - Spring 2025) Priority Deadline - May 1, 2024

Outside Agency Scholarship Applications
F.A. Davis Scholarships - students in the U.S. or Canada (must be a citizen, legal resident or holder of a valid student visa) currently pursuing one of the following degrees or certifications: LPN.LVN, RN, BSN, RN-BSN, MSN, DNP, OT, OTA, TOD, PT, PTA, DPT, MLS, MLT, AT, MA, PA, CST, Respiratory Therapy or comaprable health science specialty. Must be enrolled and have an overall GPA of 3.0 or higher.
EQT Energize Your Education Scholarship - awards 15 $10,000 schoalrships to graduating high school students looking to pursue a degree ina field that is utilized in the oil and gas industry, such as computer science or information technology; civil, chemical or petroluem engineering; energy or land management; environmental science; geology; safety science; or welding. Eligible students must be current high school senior with a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0.
Ohio University Eastern WVNCC Transfer Scholarship - for students transferring to Ohio University after graduation from WVNCC.
Lockheed Martin Vocational Scholarship - students who are U.S. citizens pursuing technology, engineering or advanced manufacturing degrees/certificates (for a full list of eligible programs, please click the link). Full or part-time enrollment. Cannot have already earned a bachelor's degree.
Microsoft Cybersecurity Scholarship - residents of the United States and students currently enrolled in a cybersecurity-related program at a two-year institution in the United States. Students must show financial need by providing a financial aid award letter showing Pell Grant eligibility of other evidence of need.
P.E.O. Chapter U Evergreen Scholarship - awarded annually to one female student of WVNCC's New Martinsville Campus. Applicants must be residents of Wetzel or Tyler County. Both full-time and part-time students may apply.
The SkillPointe Scholarship - SkillPointe scholarships support worthy individuals pursuing a trade or technical skill at a community college, trade school or other reputable institution. Applications are open on a rolling basis and multiple $1000 scholarship awards will be given each month to help off-set the cost of training for any American seeking a career in a skilled profession.
David Robertson Scholarship - must reside in a county served by the Community Foundation for the Ohio Valley. Student must be pursuing/plan to pursue an associate degree at any WVNCC campus and be enrolled next academic year. HS senior applicants must have a cumulative 3.0 to apply; current WVNCC students must have a cumulative 2.5 GPA. The 2022 scholarship season will open January 1st, 2022 and close February 23rd, 2022. Soroptomist International of Wheeling Live Your Dream Award - for women who serve as the primary wage earners for their families, and are in need of financial assistance towards continuing their education
Trade Academy Next Generation HVAC Scholarship - open to anyone enrolled, or planning to enroll as a student in an HVAC training program for the Spring 2022 semester.
Horatio Alger National Career and Technical Program Scholarship - applicants must have completed high school (or equivalency), be enrolled in a technical degree/certificate program, be Pell Grant eligible, under the age of 30 and a U.S. citizen
Bud Lutty Scholarship Fund - Scholarship application and list of contributing employers are available by clicking the link. Students who are either employees or dependents of employees of the contributing employers are eligible to apply. Applications are due by December 31st.
National Restaurant Association Scholarship - for students, military service personnel and individuals pursuing a restaurant, food service or hospitality career. Scholarships range from $2,500 to $10,000
Careeronestop Scholarship Search (sponsored by the U.S. Department of Labor) - serach more than 7,500 scholarships, fellowships, grants, and other financial aid award opportunities.
Ohio Oil and Gas Energy Education Foundation Scholarship (OOGEEP) - for U.S. citizens pursuing a career in the crude oil and natural gas industry. Must be an Ohio resident and maintain a GPA of 2.5 or higher.
State of West Virginia High School Equivalency Diploma Scholarship - for WV residents who recieved a high school equivalency diploma and plan to enroll as a full-time student.
Community Foundation for the Ohio Valley - offers scholarships for Ohio Valley students. Applications for the 2022 scholarship season will open January 1st, 2022 and close February 23rd, 2022. To view available scholarships, click here.
NACA Foundation Scholarships - for current undergraduate students who hold a significant campus leadership position, have made significant contributions to their campus communities and have demonstrated leadership skills and abilities
Appalachian Basin GPA Midstream Scholarship Program – for full-time Petroleum Technology students who are a U.S. citizen and have an overall GPA of 2.8 or higher.
The WV Center for Nursing Scholarship/Loan Program – for West Virginia residents enrolled in a West Virginia nursing program. Students become eligible once they have completed half their program and must be planning to work in West Virginia for two years following graduation.
Engineering, Science and Technology Scholarship - A scholarship available to qualified students interested in pursing an education in engineering, science, or technology.
Nursing Scholarships - Scholarships opportunities for students who have been accepted into the WVNCC Nursing Program.
