Admission Requirements

To apply, transfer students must complete the undergraduate admission application and have official transcripts from all schools attended sent to WVU Transfer Admissions, PO Box 6009, Morgantown, WV 26506. Faxed transcripts and transcripts issued to students will not be accepted. Students with fewer than 29 transferable hours must also submit an official high school transcript and ACT or SAT scores. Please request the high school to mark the transcript for transfer admission. The material must be received by August 1 for fall admission and by December 1 for spring admission. Students are encouraged to apply as early as possible.

Campus Visits

There are two main ways to visit campus. The Visitors Resource Center offers tours throughout the year, while Mountaineer Visitation Days are set in the fall and winter. You may also schedule a campus tour, led by a student guide using the online form at http://eservices.wvu.edu/visit/

Financial Aid

To apply for financial aid, students must file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) before the March 1 deadline. For information concerning your financial aid package, contact the WVU Financial aid Office at 304-293-5242 and choose option 4. WVU’s school code is 003827.
